Looking for an inspiring way to tap into your creativity and boost your emotional well-being? 

This week course offers a unique opportunity for young people to explore various artistic mediums in a supportive, engaging environment that will spark imagination, self-expression, connection and mindfulness through the power of art. 

Program Highlights:

This carefully designed course introduces participants to a range of creative techniques that promote personal growth and emotional resilience. Each week, you'll dive into a new artistic practice, from neurographic art and clay creations to nature-inspired wreath-making and powerful mandala designs. No prior art experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore.

This term's programme:

Week 1: Botanical Watercolour Printing

Use leaves, flowers and botanicals with watercolour to create vibrant nature-inspired prints.

Week 2: Painted Rock Mandalas and pictures

Discover simple dot-painting techniques to transform stones into colourful decorative pieces.

Week 3: Fish weaving hangings (taught by our very own lily… )

Discover the simple fish weaves from Thursday Island, we will make little fish to the display on our own art work.

Week 4: Paper Quilling 

Rolling, shaping, and designing delicate paper forms into beautiful creations.

Week 5: Printing Your Own Wrapping Paper 

Designing and printing your own patterned paper to take home or gift.

WEEK 6: INK PLAY (precursor to ink coasters)

We will play and see what using alcohol inks feels alike and looks like to get ready to create some alcohol ink coasters.

WEEK 7: INK COASTERS / TILES 

We will work together on the technique we played with last week to create soasters/ tiles with your beautiful inks.

Week 8 - Open 

We will often have a week where we don’t finish something and we run behind … this week is allocated for that :-)
